I’ve been eating gluten-free since August 14th, 2013, when my doctor made the suggestion that I might be gluten-intolerant. Since that day, my energy has increased, I no longer need to take a 2-hour nap in the afternoon to remain alert through the evening, and my binge disordered eating has stopped.
My greatest challenge has been with eating out. My husband & I regularly eat at restaurants, usually splitting meals and desserts. Not anymore! Eating gluten-free means buying 2 meals (usually) and watching the ingredients. So far, I have had great adventures dining in or taking out to home. This blog will highlight some of those experiences, both good & not good.
